I HAVE A 94 CIVIC SEDAN (FERIO) IN JAPAN. I WANT TO DO A TYPE R CONCEPT TO MY CAR. ITS A VERY LIGHT CAR BY THE WAY, ABOUT 2300 LBS AND I HAD HEAVY RIMS. ANY WAY I LOVE THIS CAR AND WOULD NOT TRADE IT FOR ANYTHING. ITS NEVER EVER LEFT ME STRANDED AND ITS A 5SPD MANUAL SO ITS FUN TO DRIVE. THE QUESTION IS= DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THE INTEGRA DOOR PANELS FIT MY CAR?, ALSO WOULD THE DASHBOARD FIT ASWELL?. ONE MORE THING WOULD THE TYPE R FRONT END FIT TOO?. I KNOW SOME OF U MIGHT SAY DUDE JUST SELL YOUR CAR AND GET AN INTEGRA. BUT NAH. CUSTOMISATION IS WHAT I AM ALL ABOUT MAKE 1 CAR LOOK ENTIRELY DIFFERENT, SO ANY POSITIVE FEEDBACK WOULD HELP OUT ALOT. IF NOT ILL JUST MIX DIFFERNT CIVIC PARTS AND MAKE THEM LOOK AS IF THE CAR CAME WITH IT
I am specifically interested what is the percentage of money which country goes:
1) Toyota built in Japan.
2) Toyota built in California.
3) Ford built in Michigan.
4) Ford built in Mexico.
If let say profits from Toyota built in California go 50% Japan and 50% USA and Ford built in Mexico go 50% Mexico 50% USA, than for me as American patriot no any sense to buy Ford.
People say it’s people like me who buy Japanese cars is why American businesses are failing. They say “Save my job,buy American!” I know why they are saying that, but Toyotas are a damn good car,and almost everybody I know who has American cars have nothing but trouble with them.My Corolla is a 2001 and no rust, paint looks like new, has had minor repairs for the most part, nothing major besides needing a new A/C compressor. My old car,I bought it when it was 10 years old,it was a 1988 Olds Cutlass, and already needed a new radiator, fuel tank, suspension work, and already had rust repair done, then needed more, then it needed a new engine at only 90,000 miles! My Corolla has 130,000 miles, and still runs like brand-new,looks new,and the resale value is much higher, but why would I sell it?It’s been the best car I’ve ever owned.I will NEVER buy another American vehicle! They are JUNK! It wouldn’t break my heart at all if GM,Ford,or Chrysler went under and Japanese makes took over the plants,in turn putting American workers back to work building Toyotas and other Japanese makes in American factories.I think the big 3 will be history in another 5 years, especially with OBUMMA in office!car companies will not thrive in the USA because he will raise their taxes so high that cars will only be made in Japan. That’s the reason there are no American jobs anymore,it’s not because of people buying foreign makes.
I want to buy a car to use on a regular basis from Japan with right-hand steering, but before I do, I want to know what problems I might have driving a RHD steering in a country with a majority of LHD steering, including on the freeways. Thanks a lot.
I see many advantages to letting them file chapter 11 This fear of national calamity is not real. They get their ducks in a row Or someone else will buy then out and start building cars that we want and need’ These are not car manufacturers any way-they are assembly lines only all the parts are made somewhere else, Mexico, Japan, china, etc.
Unfortunately, you are wrong. The house turned it down.-but Bush can still give them the money-

Thank you larry: just saw where Bush has given them 17.4 billion dollars We are going to have to get two jobs so we can pay our taxes.
i want to build a potential race car and i want to put a big rotary in it. where can i find an imported 20b from japan that i can order?
It’s no simple answer… A lot of Lincoln’s are made in Mexico. Some Chevy’s are made in China. Lot’s of Toyota’s and Honda’s are made in America. So which manufacture actually contributes the most to our GDP? Is it a Honda Accord which is 70% American parts and assembled in Ohio but owned by Japan? Or is it something like the Lincoln MKZ which is 50% American parts but it’s made in Mexico. And what about Jags? They are owned by Ford but made in the U.K… Same with Volvo’s, Land Rovers, and Mazda’s… All owned by Ford. But would buying one actually contribute to our GDP? And let’s say for some reason I decided on a Chevy Malibu, that is 86% American parts and made in KS… But how much of that really goes to the GDP? Here is where I found my stats: http://www.usatoday.com/money/autos/2007-03-21-car-content-chart_N.htm?loc=interstitialskip . Thanks.
America,UK ,Japan,Austrailia,etc.
I don’t want to show it or have it on display, I just want to drive it. I’m thinking about importing a RHD Chevrolet Blazer from Japan, like I know that Chevrolet Blazers are American cars and they are sold here but do RHD Chevrolet Blazers they have different parts that are illegal or prevent me from importing it?
Thanks in advance!
Im not talking bmws, mercedes, lamborginis ect. those are luxury cars and everybody should experience that. But everytime you buy a foreign average car you put an american out of a job, and i dont want to here that toyotas are built in kentucky or whatever the money goes to japan. And by you not buying american it has a domino affect on everybody.
the U.S. will be a third world country if thi s continues mark my word , and i wasnt lying about kids seeing the sadaam hanging look how many have killed themselves. isaid kiids should not see it weeks ago.
